When you solder you make a rigid connection rather than flexible

A quality crimp and crimper will be more forgiving to movement, if you have an area without vibration or movement then solder. Years ago as a professional electician we used to cadweld ground large ground connection to insure low resistance. Now everone uses high quality crimps. I have a first rate Ancor ratchet crimper and use heat shrink crimps.
