Crimp connectors with shrink tubing & sealant are really good.
In Response To: Solder vs. crimp connectors ()
Some have shrink tubing but not sealant. The shrink tubing with sealant is great, expensive at more than 2 dollars a piece but it was the only thing I used.

- Watch the type of solder, but otherwise it's fine to use solder.
- When you solder you make a rigid connection rather than flexible

- I was always told to crimp if the amp draw was going to be high
