The hose with the plastic ends is OK, we have one of those in 25' but after dropping it enough times the last few years the plastic end is now leaking. I have seen what happens when they are just left out in the sun, I gather the fabric covering does not block the UV rays so the tubing inside just splits open. Our hose lives in an old bucket from frozen margarita's, inside the dock box. It was $9.99 at the local dollar store.
