we were delivering a boat that had 100% electronic charts. Weather got crappy at the end and the laptop took a dive.

It was maybe 2 in the morning and I'm think "man I hate to bounce around here all night" then I remembered seeing laminated chart place mats, so I start rooting through them. And I kid you not they had the harbor entrance we were heading too!

so up I climb back up to the cockpit all cocky...

Then my partner said "uhhh, why don't we just follow that big f'n cruise ship. If he makes it I bet we can"
