racers

it does look overpowered, and uncomfortable for the crew, and scary for the average passenger, and it spills the drinks.

We spend a fair amount of time on Sunday afternoons watching the racers from another club out on the bay. I am amazed at what they do for the sake of "racing", my thought is that if I can see your keel you have too much sail up for the conditions.

There is one member of our club that takes part, two years ago he ripped the chain plates out of the deck of his J-boat and folded the mast in half. It didn't really phase him though, all part of racing. He totaled that boat and is now racing an older C&C, 29 I think?
