Are you going to use an insert for the finger hole?
That's it - just the recess. It doesn't go all the way through the Lexan and is easy to slide.

The Rivet Counters will frown on much of what I've done on this rebuild.
That's from when Land and Range Rovers made their name. Those are models like we saw in Africa --
