In Response To: Coming alongside using just a spring line ()
I think we need to move our aft spring from amidship to a point further aft, adjacent to the rudder, which should help keep the bow from swinging in. Thanks for the replies.

- I have, but it works way better with an aft breast spring. That puts the force amidships and
- Spring line and aft stern line are the first "two" typical lines for us unless in oddball situation
- I use a dockline with a loop on the end, thrown over the main sheet winch.
