Coming alongside using just a spring line
Can you "paint" a clearer picture here?
Spring line leads aft, engine in slow forward.
I have, but it works way better with an aft breast spring. That puts the force amidships and
Spring line and aft stern line are the first "two" typical lines for us unless in oddball situation
I use a dockline with a loop on the end, thrown over the main sheet winch.
I use a short mid-ship breast line
