we tucked up in there early summer. Special place. I think we were anchored off Burnt Island. We pulled in one afternoon anticipating a nasty cold front blowing through that night, which wasn't as bad as predicted. Nevertheless, this is a fine spot to be in for a blow. I was amazed how different the place looked the next morning, when the tides rolls in & out of here, it looks completely different. It was lovely day with light air when we departed the next day, we brought the boat almost all the way in to Winter Harbor just to the north, and had a perfect spinnaker run down the channel on our way northeast and out ! One of my favorite spots in Penobscot Bay for sure. I think there was one other boat in there. Cheers, John
