Doubt it was the Post Office. They've always been quite efficient getting mail and packages through to us out here in the middle of the Pacific. I'd put the blame on whoever is responsible for getting the ballots in the mail in the first place. USPS can't deliver what's not given to them in a timely manner. Yes, delays happen if the post/package is sent slow boat First Class/Priority mail is delivered faster than the guys in Brown by the USPS, in my experience. Priority Mail/First Class takes thee days from here to the West Coast and a day or two longer to the East Coast. The guys in Brown charge two to three times as much for 2nd day delivery and take a day or two longer to deliver it.
