Everything I've heard about Windows 7 has been positive, although I'm a bit out of the loop now that I'm working in the sailing biz.
Windows XP has been a very good operating system, and Vista just plain ol' stank. Windows 7 would have to be an improvement over that.
I get a big kick out of the Windows 7 TV commercial that shows a girl in a coffee shop with a laptop, and she remarks something to the effect that she can actually run several programs at once without crashing or freezing. LMAO!
One thing I know about the computer business is this. It's an upgrade business. All manufacturers, including Microsoft, try to come up with something new that you simply must buy. Quite honestly, I'm happy with Windows XP and will continue to run it. It does everything I want it to do and runs the apps that I want to run. Until I buy something that requires an upgrade, I won't change.
