Incredibly friendly little community, just about everybody came by to pay me a visit when I laid at the ferry dock... Very nicely maintained houses for the most part, hard to imagine it being abandoned at the moment... Certainly one of the more colorful outports, white vinyl siding has become the death of the traditional outport look in Newfie...

I would have loved to have lingered a bit longer there, and hike some of the trails into the mountains inland, but deteriorating weather compelled me to move on to Ramea, sounds like Grand Bruit can get a pretty good surge in an onshore blow...

Like Paul, I'm really enjoying your pics, brings back good memories of that place...
