I need to replace my old gate valves on a manifold with three tanks feeding my fresh water system(strainer, filter, accumulator tank). What is the best way to make up a manifold and which valves would work best? I assume they have some quick connect valves that would act like a ball valve, which is what I was originally going to use. Trouble with the ball valves is the amount of space I would need in order to be able to throw each valve the quarter turn necessary to open and close. This would make for a manifold much wider than the one I now have with the gate valves.
