Inch vs Metric

() Well, PEX refers to the material of the pipe, while SeaTech is a fitting manufacturer. PEX piping comes in both inch and metric varieties - definately NOT interchangable. SeaTech makes fittings to fit both - one series has a black collet while the other has a gray collet - don't recall which is which.

- I've read all these and while I use a lot of Pex tubing, I don't think I'd use in on my boat.
