If you don't need or want to have multiple tanks feed the pump at any one time you could also use a multi-port valve like this Apollo

I put a 3-port in our previous boat since we had 2 tanks. In Portland (Oregon) we can buy from Paramount Supply but other industrial plumbing distributors should have them.
