Sounds pretty finicky. Will stick with the Raritan PH-II or PH-C

Between what you describe and my very limited experience in the charter cat, lots to go wrong with the Lavac. One of the Lavacs on the charter cat had a bad seal from a cracked lid (seemed to be from too much suction) and the charter company said "that's common". Perhaps charter heads are abused, but that's still a good indication they're not so problem free. Those wet seats and lids were a real turn-off for the admiral too. She'd never let me get one.
