...they were getting ready to do the overnight passage down to Provo, so put it on deck for that... sure does render that bagged headsail useless, however...

They were looking at crossing a couple of major shipping passages towards the Windward Passage and the canal, however, and watchstanding could be a real challenge with that setup... Sure hope he had AIS... (grin)
