Their radar and anyone else's ain't the same thang

() Something makes me suspect they have somewhat "high end" radar gear, vs. what the average pleasure craft or merchant ship.
BTW I learned when operating off Groton CT (sub base) that you can't see boomer subs on radar, even when the conning tower and tail are fully visible less than a mile away, broadside.
