From (say Portland, ME) Rockland is about 25 miles closer than Belfast --- BUT...

Mapquest thinks its only a 10 minute difference by car coming that way. I guess there are a bunch of stops on the shorter road to Rockland.
By the way, we're talking about 102 miles from Portland to Belfast. FYI.
