Here's my five year old daughter somewhere up the BC or Alaska coast imitating me last spring (in her fleece pajamas)... (She's got the handle in the low-speed part of the windlass, so it's relatively easy to crank then).
Singlehanded anchoring...hmm, lots of running back and forth from bow to cockpit (to engine controls), but with all chain it's reasonable, since the chain feeds well on the gypsy...the running back and forth gives my arm a rest In a crowded anchorage it's no fun, though.
