The only reason I would change
In Response To: Why do you need to change it? ()
the com port from "7" is that I have to select it because the AIS doesn't automatically come up to it. Ideally, I would like to configure the AIS to select 7 automatically but I don't know how to do that either. I suppose that I'm thinking that it should do that by itself. Maybe I'm wrong about that.
