No real difference from one brand to the other. I don't use Shell Rotell T because it is only available in gallons locally. Both the Chevron and Texaco diesel rated oils are available in both quarts and gallons here. My engine takes just over 5 quarts.

        Hope Earl is good and tired by the time he reaches Nova scotia.
    - CH and CJ exceed the CD spec and will be better.
      - Brand doesn't matter - all the majors make diesel rated oil
