You might try to "Make" a line adjustable model

Forespar and others used this sort of design. It involves a block at the end of the pole, and a line to extend the pole out, then a "cam" cleat with an eye to hold the line while you're using the pole. You probably would have to rivit or tap the respective tubes to effect the attachment of these devices.

How much of an adjustment to you need to do, Rick? How long is pole? What's the size and sail sizes of the genoa and/or jib sail(s), etc.?

Otherwise, could you simple "fix" the pole and use if for the return trip. You'd have to deal with the on deck storage and it obviously affects your ability/process(es) to set the pole with the sail,etc.

Eventually, you probably have to give-up on it and replace it.
