NOAA; "Penobscot Bay today, west winds at 5 to 10 knots"

Ha! Good thing I took a look around before taking the reef out of the main. This was roaring up the western shore of Penobscot Bay, thankfully in the lee of the land. Even with a fully reefed main, I was overpowered.

I wasn't complaining though, it was a nice, quick, sail home from Monhegan Island to end our cruise south. The Camden Hills, dead ahead.
