I like to put a coat or two on in the fall

() It fills and protects any dings that I accumulated over the summer. I try to sand well and add some more in the spring too. It's much easier than stripping it all off every couple years.

- I have just about settled on that brand myself ...for what little I varnish - we still like the new Cetol generally
