Bare feet!
In Response To: the dilema of bare feet... ()
When we owned and cruised TPIII solved the shoe problem by going barefooted! solved the bare footed problem by having no obstructions on the side decks other than lifeline stanchions.
The companion way stairs each had a narrow piece of 22o grit sand paper attached to the edge with glue. Easy to replace did the job, the stairs were teak varnished and looked very nice!
