... calling for help never came to mind. In the end, I got a real good work out and the sails worked as advertised even without the engine.
Sometimes it's just easier to call for help and sometimes it's the only answer. Maye one day the coast guard will consider dropping in someone to help fix boat issues out at sea instead of extracting folks and leaving the vessel floating around out there...?
