When you left Chaguaramas it looks like you went directly for Bonaire. When we were in Trinidad back in 2002 we traveled along the Paria Peninsula West and then out to Margarita. At that time things were a bit dicey so we traveled with two other boats in close proximity.

Has it gotten to where no one travels along the coast of Venezuela? It was really beautiful there. 400 foot cliffs, monkeys in the trees, millions of fireflys and fresh water streams emptying to the coast. The Admiral made about 50 bags with school stuff for the children and with all the pangas loaded with families that came out to greet us we ran out in about 3 days.
