and there are plenty of micro brews in the area. I usually prefer something along the lines of Alpine Beer Company Pure Hoppiness.
And I certainly cannot disagree that a small boat in Mission Bay can be a fun thing. I still own my beach cat (Prindle 16) and have had my share of good times zipping up and down Sail Bay and around by Sea World... while trying to lift one hull... not to mention a quiet moment or few down wind while I kick back on the trampoline and just let the world ease on by.
But it's hard to sleep on that beach cat, and a bigger boat just offers so many more nice amenities. While I don't do 9+ knots on my monohull... I still enjoy getting it up to hull speed, and if I am just working on the boat and decide to go for pizza, Pizza Port and great beer are just a bridge crossing away... easily done on the bike.
Larry is right Craig... if Miller Lite is your "doesn't get much better than..." well fine for you, but frankly I like something with a bit more hops.
