There was a small stone building in the next anchorage near a fishing village but there was nothing in Bahia San Francisco, only the occasional Venezuela fishing boat.

I remember a local fisherman came over and asked if he could use my mask as he needed to do some work on the bottom of the boat. We let him use one. When he came back to return it we had found an old mask we could give away and he got to own it.

Got a few good sized snappers out of the deal in return.
