By that I mean my wife loves sailing under main alone. When we first started dating she would go out in anything. We used to pride ourselves in going to the islands on lake Erie when nobody else was there. Now it's calm waters and main alone so it doesn't "tip over". I even have a high aspect main and I'm always amazed how well it drives the boat as long as it's pretty calm waters. It's a nice way to get around the bay in Sandusky without getting "there" too fast. Also a nice way to treat newbies when I first get them on a boat. Once the chop picks up, which is pretty quick on lake Erie, I have to get the jib working but it's a pleasant way to sail and will get my wife out.
