To all Valiant owners,

After months of consideration, we have come to the very difficult decision
that effective immediately we will no longer produce new Valiant sailboats.
The ongoing economic situation has created an environment where it is no
longer feasible to continue production.

We would like to assure all of the Valiant family that many key personnel,
including craftsmen, technicians, and administrators are being retained and
reassigned to our sister company, Cedar Mills Marina, so that we can
continue to support Valiant Yachts and their owners. We will continue to
supply parts and focus on refurbishing older boats so that Valiant Yachts
will be around far into the future. Our sales staff will also be retained
and offer personalized brokerage services to Valiant Yacht owners around the
globe.

After more than 25 years of producing boats in Texas, the Worstell family
and Valiant staff would like to thank all the Valiant family, its owners,
dealers, and fans for their loyalty and support. It has been a wonderful
experience building Valiant Yachts, the best boat in the world, and getting
to know so many great folks who sail and enjoy them.

Best regards,

Rich, Jan & Kris Worstell
