There's a huge inventory of "dream boats" from the heyday of the 90's, when the stock market and real estate boom made many people feel wealthy. Many of those boats are on the market now with more sellers than buyers, overall. Yes there will always be the new boat buyer and people with the means to buy their dreamboat, and there will be specialty boats (like mine) people will pay a premium for -- but the new market does get skewed by the used market.
