we have the reef outhaul and main halyard ending back at the cockpit through the coaming and brakes running to our electric winch. The tack has the standard cringle on a short strap that goes over a hook at the gooseneck.
I go to the mast, the Admiral drops the main so I can hook the cringle. Once hooked I return to the cockpit. Then the main is raised tight with the electric winch and locked with a brake. Then we transfer the line on the winch from the main halyard to the reef outhaul and winches it tight (electrically) . Very easy
