what you described. I have a few final bits I'm wrestling with. I intend to install swiveling cheek blocks to route each tack reef line to a point a bit forward of the actual tack attachment point so as to introduce a pull in-line with the boom. My hope is that this would better locate the tack since it's reinforced there anyway and also to protect the first hoisted slug from seeing so much pressure.
I'd also like your thoughts on two other things I've done. I've lashed a T-2 Harken block to each tack d-ring. I haven't had a chance yet to hoist in a breeze so I don't know how it'll work.
I don't want blocks on the leech but I like those clever Goiot in-cringle blocks. I may try those.
