Well, I don't agree with the "always run it at 80% +" crowd... 
In Response To: Volvo folding prop -- 16x19 three blade ()
My Volvo is rated at 3000 rpm, I run it below 2000 and it is probably putting out 20 or 25 hp, or 30% load according to the curves. I know everyone says you have to run a diesel hard, but most of them around the world aren't run that way and they last just fine.
