Damn well built vessel. Everything is oversized from what I remember.

Hunters, Beneateau's and their cousins aren't blue water boats. I'm afraid to take some of them out of the harbor for an overnighter. If your boat was made today it would be a good blue water boat. If you look at the good ones,, Kanters & Cabo Rico's they're offshore boats.

On the tankage issue. I can't argue. We carry 350 gallons of water and don't have a watermaker. I like it. Even if we had a 'state of the art' watermaker I like having the tankage. ( 350 of water, 200 fuel, great ) We don't worry.
