• How has the design and construction of bluewater/offshore boats changed in the last 30 years?
  • The old idea of bluewater offshore boats, has kinda, gone away.
    • Cruising boats
      • I can see that. I don't spend huge amounts of time onboard.
    • In my minds eye, it's just how comfortable

  • Only the 'geometry' has changed
    • Insurance carriers don't demand anything a surveyor doesn't call out in survey

  • Many of them now have more than one hull
    • That's true. I'm seeing more multi hulls all the time.
    • That's because of all the used Moorings rental boats
