What I meant by 'Driving a Bus' are all those catamarans with a high one sided seat that is built for two. You climb up into the seat and are essentially at a fly bridge except on one side of the vessel.. It's just weird, a bit like the driver seat on a bus (Amels are the same way). I like the center helm of a monohull. Put the wheel in the center and have a real helm.

The one catamaran designer I really like is 'Chris White'. We met a guy in the Western Caribbean that built one in his barn in California. Beautiful boat and different from all the X rental designs.

I could give some serious thought to a Chris White Catamaran.
