We helped my aunt close up her cottage on Saturday and Sunday, hauling the dock and her 1910 cedar strip 16 footer. On Monday we went out for a sail in shorts and T-shirts; unheard of for October around here. I only had my phone with me so the picture isn't great but if you look close you can see a couple of dozen sails. The harbour was busy with a lot of people getting in that last sail of the season and others taking advantage of the weather to strip boats for hauling.
It has been a very warm fall. Normally this time of year the trees are in full colour but it's still mostly green.
