The current PS tests the Parker diesel polisher and it sounds like a simple solution to keeping fuel clean. It installs between the primary filter and the engine, with a return line plumbed to the engine return line. Basically, it pulls fuel at 2 gal/hr through the main filter. Does a 50 gallon tank in 24 hours at 3.6A over 24 hours.
About the only downside I can see is the additional chance for air leak, since this is on the suction side of the fuel line. Does anyone have any experience with these? I might put one on next year. I have a 45 gal tank and rarely go through an entire tank in a season. Had my tank polished a couple years back, use additives and no problems since then, but I'm always wary I'll start seeing the little dark smudges in the fuel filter again.
