In Response To: Parker recommends putting the pump after the filter ()
which will optimize water eject to the filter 'sump' before filtration. This is usually a hydrophobic 'coating' of the filter surface.
For 'plain vanilla' filtration you're not going to get significant emulsification of water with a diaphragm type pump.
