Sorry about that obfuscating side comment! I run VMware Fusion for my Windows apps. I run Airmail to get my Winlink access. It would be nice if there were a Mac version of the software, but I'm grateful to the authors that they gave us and maintain a Windows version gratis.
The Rogue Wave system looks like a regular internet router to the Mac as far as I can tell. It assigns a TCP address via DHCP. You access the Rogue Wave TCP address and it displays the WIFI nodes to choose from. After choosing one, it attempts to establish an internet link, updating the web page as it goes. I don't think any of this would be affected by your Mac system version since there is no driver software customized for the Mac. You are simply communicating with the Wave unit as if it were any other website. That said, I haven't tried it with Mac OS 10.7.
Good luck with your decision. I have a $1k piece of software I depend on that will break with Lion. I'll avoid upgrading as long as I can.
