It has areas of Mt. Desert that don't appear to be covered.

Survey -- who wants paper catalogs?
Shopping has changed.
Got Defender and West Marine both...I thumb thru them for ideas.
I like them and use them.
I still like ...
I like them, without a catalog...
One other thing..since the only internet available where I live is dial-up...
Do you get cell signal Todd?
Not really - closest cell tower is almost 7 miles away...
You should do a trial
He's on Mt Desert Island, ME. They're 3 hours to Portand, by phone ;^))))
Far out, man.
Planet Mars is ~30 minutes maximum
Local cell tower is US cellular
Just checked...
It's supposed to starting in 2012 (if I read the chart correctly)
My son lives in Southwest Harbor
Sounds like Mt Desert Island does have digital coverage
As I said before, AT&T and Verizon don't have coverage where I live...
If I drive three miles toward SW Harbor, I pick up their Cell tower
Besides Southwest Harbor is a metropolitan center...
Lol...you really need to get out of the metropolitan area.
How much does all that cost, Larry?
Have you considered satellite? It's not much more expensive than I pay AT&T for DSL.
Neighbors have it and it isn't worth the price
Gosh..without cell phone no one can text...no cable or satellite, no internet worth the time and effort......holy cow--
I find catalogs useful for checking stuff
Catalogs are beneficial. I've almost never "browesed" the web sites. I think it's pretty useful to have them.
I use a Hamilton catalogue all the time.
Hamilton's site
Hamilton is my first source for parts and pieces
When cruising it's important to have catalogs
agreed
Same here!!
I like getting catalogs!
Read again Pam
Hmmm how many jobs would be impacted by your proposal? What do you care, though.....no skin off your wallet!
Jobs round here would be affected (smilicon)
you're right about that tree farming thing Jeremy, I forgot al about that...
Actually, you did, Larry
Thank you, Gail....
Wrong Gail. All of that was stated as my opinion!
Larry, you broad brushed it, and judging from the reaction you got here, you were wrong
Wrong? No. Different? Yes.
geez, lighten up on the guy...everyone's entitled ...
Lol, gail, you will never get him to see that he did broad brush
"Dim"? Really Pam. You win.
"broad brush" -- I new sexist term in the Urban Dictionary
give it a rest
You're right Pam
TOTALLY agree with Pam.....
Good Catalogues are handy. I use them.
Try reading YOUR e-mail you sent the company.
Pam you don't need to be concerned
Lol...living up to your usual....delete if someone disagrees. By the looks of this
Pam I get the impression you're having a bad hair day.
Really? I get the impression you have no idea what life is outside your little world......
That can be said for all of us on this earth.
catalogs may be nice for some but I feel that they (and junk mail) kill way to many trees...
BTW, many customers use West and Defender catalogs when calling us so please keep sending out those catalogs Stephan.
Sorry Larry, paper is my choice
Defender needs both a catalog and a website.
Bingo. That was my point.
To be fair to Larry, this is THE question in publishing anything today.
So, a Boater, a Priest & a Rabbi walk into a bar and ask about the future of printed catalogs....
Great reply, Stephan. Now will you ...
Hi Max. Hope you are well. Me in DC? Hah! It'll never happen.
Yup, that's the problem...
Keep sending 'em Stephan...
I just wish they would use softer paper
