() I know my friends repower into a 42' boat was constricted in places by the larger hosing alone. They got it all straight but not until it was redone a second time with a better design. Then I think water lift mufflers increase in size for the 3" hose, but I could wrong there. Any part going from 2 to 3" goes up in size and cost I would guess.
