They actually make silicon bronze chain plates. I sent them an email a few hours ago asking for more info. I am hoping to get the blanks for my boat, then drill/square the holes out myself to make them match the exact same holes I have. At the same time I asked if they could fix one of my bronze stanchions. It was bent some time back and I would like to fix that. And it's way past time to replace my chain plates!

I'll post any info I get if your interested.
