The short story

Max,

The quick and dirty is;

1. I mounted one of the thumb screw type rail mount to a board on the side of the bilge near the top.
2. I used a heat gun to bend (in 2 places) a 1 inch PVC tube.
3. I used a hose clamp to attach the bilge pump to the PVC tube so it rests on the floor of the bilge
4. I used a second clamp to attach a “Water Witch” type switch just above the pump.
5. All the wiring is a bit long.

Now I can just use the thumb screw to open the rail clamp and pull the pump/switch assy up out of the way, do whatever, then drop it back in place in less than a couple of min.

Sorry, don't have the photos handy just now. I am working on getting together a batch of photos/info on a batch of the dirt simple mods I have done that worked VERY well for us and saved us big bucks.
