been working GREAT for me! During our cruising I use it at least once every 6 months to pull the pump out and clean it and the area. Keeps the smells down.

The one thing that I did find was that the electrical sensing type of switch works best with it in my deep and narrow area. I clamped the switch to the PVC just above the pump. And since it runs for about 10 to 15 seconds once the water is below the sensor, it clears the bilge every time. And so far, over 8 years on the switch and it's still working very well. Only caution is that I use a paper towel and wipe the contacts about once a month or so. Just a normal maintenance thing when I am check other stuff in that area.
