Of all the chainplate systems you see on modern boats ....

Beneteau has to have the simplest, most 'pure' configuration from an advanced engineering sense .... no clunky stress risers, etc., straight uncomplicated stress handling, no bends or 'kinks', really 'elegant' and of course the 'membrane/gasket' system that seals the through-deck is quite exceptional design. When you see such elegant simplicity one has so stand back and admire the engineering design that went into that system ... Simple is always better, stunningly and elegantly simple is the 'best'.
