Some of the thought I had when I was looking at it.
My prop shaft is lower than my floor boards. So that was not a problem. I considered it an emergency de-watering device that could buy me the extra time to rig my collision mat over the hole. All I had to do was start the engine to have it operate. It also would keep the engine room ventilated as it is pumping air when no water is there. I also did NOT think it would be my main bilge pump. I would still have my manual and the auto pump.
It would be a tight fit on our 27 foot boat. BUT, if I had a larger boat, I WOULD have installed one.
